Question by carnellsfuturestar: What was your experience like on the City Lights Cruises?
For my 16th birthday, my friends and I going on the City Lights Cruises boat at Navy Pier (Downtown Chicago). I wanted to know if it was fun or not because three hours seems like a long time to just dance and eat. Can please give an honest review about your experience?

My friends and I went on last night’s cruise and our group had a pretty good time. It’s not luxury, but it’s a party on the ocean. The food was sparing. They didn’t have coffee, so for those who wanted to warm up with some coffee and Bailey’s, we were a little S.O.L. Aside from that, two of the three bartenders made GOOD STRONG drinks. The DJ was pretty cool, although I had to stay on him about a particular type of music I wanted to hear (only a couple of techno songs). All in all, it was a good experience. I hope you didn’t pay through the nose for the tickets, though. Some people paid $ 80 per person to get on the boat. I wouldn’t rate this at anything over a $ 50-$ 60 per person experience.
